I went to Tamba Sasayama, where the scenery of the mountain range spreads out gently. I went to Sayaka Hayashi’s studio to shoot “Kaka Kahan”. In the workshop where soft light enters, Ms. Hayashi’s delicate and beautiful works were lined up in a dignified manner. Pure white, but with a whiteness that somehow gives you a sense of warmth.
Tea utensils are so thin that they can be seen through light. I got the impression that there was a deep core within his kindness. Chinese tea brewed by her husband, Rai. The time I spent drinking tea with Sayaka’s tea utensils was very enriching. My heart became full.

 

山並みの景色が穏やかに広がる丹波篠山へ。「菓菓かはん」の撮影のために、林沙也加さんの工房へ行ってきました。柔らかな光が入る工房には、林さんの繊細で美しい作品が凛とした姿で並んでいました。真っ白、だけどどこかあたたかみを感じる白さで、光を通せば透けて見えるほど薄く形作られた茶器たち。優しさの中にすっと芯が通っているような…そんな印象を受けました。旦那さんの雷さんが淹れてくださった中国茶を沙也加さんの茶器でお茶を飲む時間はとても豊かで心が満たされていきました。私たちにたくさんの癒しをくれた愛犬のリリにも感謝です。
